Yes, there’s the Nvidia Shield and Shield Tablet. Yes, there are several comparable devices you could go after, but they aren’t powered by Windows 10. They don’t include a full QWERTY keyboard AND a built-in gamepad either.
The GPD Win 10 PC Game Console absolutely does, however.
It’s an extremely portable mini PC running Windows 10, unhindered, unhinged, uncensored, if you will. That means you can install Steam, Moonlight, Rainway, or any number of streaming apps. Sure, you could install the games directly on the mini PC but they probably wouldn’t run as great. But if you use this thing as a remote streaming console with your actual PC – like you can between the PS Vita and PS4 – you’ll have some great fucking experiences, let me tell ya.
Imagine playing Skyrim or Fallout 4 on the go? Shit, let’s get even wilder and imagine playing Counterstrike or Arma on this bad boy!
Anyway, it’s a little on the pricey side for a device of this caliber, but most of the video reviews I’ve seen are positive.
Check it out, it’s a pretty badass little device (no that’s not an affiliate link, but I wish it was).
