Who gives a shit if the games included are indie or not? That argument has been pointless for a while now, especially since the scene many would call “indie” has changed. The true definition of an indie game is no longer what it once was. It’s mostly because we’re in a game bubble and shit has just blown out of proportion, but that’s a different story altogether. Let’s get back to what’s important, shall we?
Games!
The Humble Bundle never ceases to amaze, and while I wouldn’t call their latest offering the best of all time it’s still a damn good selection of titles. If you beat the average (which is currently $4.15) you’ll get six games right now with more to come in the future (more games are always added to the Humble Bundles).
Do you just want to know the games you will get if you drop the cash? The following:
- Natural Selection 2
- Sanctum 2
- Magicka + DLC
- Orcs Must Die! 2: Complete Pack
- Garry’s Mod
- Serious Sam 3: BFE
Since just one of those games at normal price would set you back about $20, I think we can conclude this is a great deal. The only exception is Garry’s Mod, but that’s because it’s an old game. That doesn’t make it any less worthy though, you should definitely check it out if you haven’t played it before.
So, let’s do a quick recap. You can get 6+ games for less than $5 (DRM free soundtracks too). What the fuck are you waiting for? Get over there.
Oh, and as a side note I did purchase this bundle so if you’re looking for someone to play co-op with here’s my steam profile.
UPDATE (12/10/2013): Three more games were just added to the bundle, and they’re yours if you beat the average: Sanctum Collection, Cities in Motion 2 and Orcs Must Die! Game of the Year.
