I know the Steam sales are the ones to beat. But more sales never hurt anyone. Actually, I’d argue that the more sales we see, the better chance we have of getting great games for less. Competition in the space is always good, despite what some of the big publishers would have you believe.
Anyway, right now, Green Man Gaming is hosting a big summer sale with games up to 75% off. What’s even more badass is that when you purchase select deals, you’ll get a free bonus pack including extra vouchers or coupons and goodies. Don’t go in buying random games just to get those bonuses. Treat them as icing on the cake. If there’s already something you want, then hell yeah. I’m sure your backlog is getting big, if it isn’t already.
Green Man Gaming is one of my favorite places to shop, especially with the XP offers that drop every month. As you buy games through GMG, you earn XP, which helps you level up and then gets you sweet, sweet access to exclusive offers and rewards. For example, this month (August, 2025) there’s a Summer Bonus XP pack for an additional 3% off, plus some exclusive offers for the new Final Fantasy Tactics, Silent Hill f, Lost Soul Aside and a few other titles. I am a gold tier member and have been for some time now.
What’s in the GMG Summer Sale?

I’m going to throw out the usual disclaimer here that I couldn’t possibly list every deal or game that’s on sale. I always recommend browsing for yourself even if you’re not planning to buy anything.
That aside, some titles that I’ve spotted include Mortal Kombat 1 Definitive Edition, Silent Hill 2 โ the remake โ Ready or Not, Alan Wake II, Atomfall, and a shit ton more.
There’s also an entire section dedicated to Steam Deck Verified game deals. Another section for games over 75% off with some real doozys in there. Or, how about the Best of 2025 deals, with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Monster Hunter Wilds, Blue Prince, Suikoden I&II Remaster, and more.
There are some damn good discounts in there, too. And in case it needs to be said, Green Man Gaming is not a grey market seller. I’ve never had a problem with any games or keys I’ve purchased on the site they’re all legitimate and on the up and up. Most are digital Steam keys that you can redeem after checkout.
The only thing I wouldn’t buy at GMG is games that I want exactly on the release date โ I mean right up to the hour. Otherwise, you’re all good.
