New Monster Hunter 4 trailer released, makes us desire a US localization

So, the new Monster Hunter 4 trailer was released yesterday. It shows more of the same gameplay and visuals as previous iterations in the series. If you’re into hunting monsters and boosting your arsenal for hours on end -and I most certainly am- then the next installment will be right up your alley.

I have Monster Hunter Portable 3rd for my PSP, and thanks to a resourceful group of developers I also have a working English patch for the title. I love it, and I can’t get enough of the fucking thing. Seeing this trailer makes me want to go pick up a Nintendo 3DS XL.

There’s only one problem at this point, there’s been no official word on whether or not we’ll see this title released here in the US. Unfortunately, the Monster Hunter series has been a hit or miss over here in the States. Some people love it, and others hate it. I’m sure you can figure out where I stand.

Japan will be getting the game on September 14th, and I am oh-so jealous! Anyway, check out the trailer and let everyone know what you think in the comments. If you bash Monster Hunter, just know that I reserve the right to give you shit about it.
