The Backbone One is an excellent mobile gaming controller that makes streaming and playing games on your mobile device so much better. Forget messing with touchscreen controls, you get the full experience of a physical controller, anywhere, anytime. Even though I have a Steam Deck for portable play, sometimes it’s just more convenient to continue playing on a phone or tablet. That’s precisely where the Backbone comes in handy. You still get the console-quality controller experience but in a bite-sized version. Plus, the design of the Backbone means playing games on a phone is much more natural. You don’t have to do the awkward finger movements to tap, roll and pinch — physical buttons are much better.
