Hulu is currently offering a full year’s subscription for $12, which divides into $0.99 per month. The fine print says it’s for a “limited commercials plan” which means you’ll still get some, but that’s a great deal for Hulu premium. Normally it’s $7.99 per month. I know it’s not gaming related, but I had to tell someone. Crazy deal.

Middle Earth: Shadow of War + Season Pass for $20

For anyone interested, I just picked up Middle Earth: Shadow of War for the PS4 for $20 at Gamestop and it includes the Season Pass free. I was a little worried personally, because I’ve bought games from there before that promise to offer a “free code” on the receipt but this time it turned out to be true; it works,...
Egress is a “Souls-like” wrapped in Battle Royale packaging
Just came back from the dead to say this looks fantastic. Hopefully, it turns out to be so. Official site is here if you want to check it out.
Opinionated: The Division is loaded with the content you’re looking for

Back in March of 2016, I wrote a review of The Division – Vulgamification in my terms – where I praised the game quite a bit. At the time, I was enjoying the game, and I felt there was plenty of content for the money I invested. Eventually, the content seemed a bit stale, but that’s because I was playing...
The lootbox conundrum
This is an incredibly thought-provoking piece on where lootboxes got their start, and how the industry is positioned to change in the future. Right on.
Yo, about that Destiny 2
Watch Terminator 2 recreated in GTA V, in its entirety
Yo, I don’t even care that it’s not in English. This is fucking awesome. If you don’t think so, you’re lame.
The backlog cometh

So, I think it’s time for me to admit that I have a problem. I need to stop buying games. Just stop, completely. I have way too many games and not enough time to play them, mostly because I spend so much time on work. Every time there’s a good sale, I’ll nab one or two games that dropped in...

Elder Scrolls Collector’s Edition might have saved a life, stopped a bullet

Welp, this is a rather interesting story. Turns out a gamer – going by the name of RabbitMax on Reddit – was sitting at his desk playing Prey, when a stray bullet entered through his apartment wall. The bullet lodged in a nearby copy of the Elder Scrolls Anthology. Talk about a close call! Original Story: Polygon
Code Vein is a post-apocalyptic action RPG with vampires
It doesn’t look like there’s a whole lot of gameplay revealed in this trailer, so there’s still a chance this game could be terrible… but it SOUNDS awesome on paper. It’s a post-apocalyptic Action RPG with vampires, and it looks to have a lot of inspiration from the Souls games. Plus, it’s from BANDAI NAMCO. Just give the teaser a...
You can own an island in Elder Scrolls Online

For a whopping 15,000 Crowns (holy shit!) you can own your own island hideaway in Elder Scrolls Online. Better hurry up and get out that money though, you only have three to four days left to buy it. It’s times like these I wish I was rich so I could own my own island. :/ You probably think only the...
